The Yellow Sea

The Yellow Sea is a gripping South Korean crime thriller that follows the story of Gu-nam, a down-and-out taxi driver living in the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, on the border of North Korea, China, and Russia. Struggling with debt and the disappearance of his wife who went to South Korea for work, Gu-nam is offered a chance to settle his debts by a local crime boss, Myun Jung-hak, who tasks him with an assassination job in South Korea. As Gu-nam navigates the dangerous underworld of organized crime, his mission takes a series of unexpected and violent turns, leading to a relentless pursuit by the police and the crime syndicate.
